Roundtable Information

District Roundtable is where Scouters, leaders, parents and other interested parties go to the find out what going on in Scouting in their area. What’s coming up, what’s happening, what are others doing to keep the “fun” alive, what the newest idea, and where to get your Scouting questions answered. It’s all there.  

When is Roundtable?

Roundtable is the 2nd Tuesday of the month.  Gathering begins at 6:30 pm, with the meeting beginning at 7 pm.

What is Roundtable?

Roundtables are an informal gathering of pack, troop, crew, ship, post and district leaders. Information on events, training opportunities and general information is provided. The peer-peer format allows an opportunity to share experiences and draw on the experience of others with similar positions. It is a fun time of fellowship which provides unit leaders the opportunity to provide a stronger program for their Scout unit. Each District sub-chair has a table with their particular area of expertise and information on upcoming and future events.

 

What is the Goal of Roundtable?

To help motivate unit leaders and refresh their morale, enthusiasm, inspiration and vision. To provide unit leaders with skills, techniques, ideas, information and know-how to make their unit operation successful. To provide resources to help unit leaders in their roles.
